Areas of Giving
At Tri-Tech, we believe every student deserves the chance to succeed. Your support directly helps students get the tools, uniforms, and experiences they need, while also fostering leadership skills. Every gift empowers students, strengthens our community, and opens doors to meaningful careers.
Student Leadership Development
Every student has the potential to lead. By offering challenges that build confidence, both individually and in the community, we help students find their voice. Through teamwork and real-world experiences, they learn to take initiative, solve problems, and lead with purpose. Here are some of the ways we foster student leadership:
Ropes Course: Every year we take students to a local ropes course where they push past their own boundaries and discover the power of teamwork. It is a chance for them to grow, support one another, and learn what they can achieve when they work together.
Experiential Learning & Field Trips: We believe real-world learning opportunities expand students’ perspectives and bring classroom lessons to life. For example, our firefighting students take part in the US Forest Service and US Fish and Wildlife Wildland Fire & Fuels Camp—a three-day immersive experience for 45–50 participants that offers hands-on firefighting training, live skill development, and exposure to federal career pathways. It’s one of our most transformative experiences for students aspiring to careers in wildland firefighting. This camp and our other experiential learning opportunities are made possible because of your support.

Tool & Equipment Fund
A strong start in the workforce often begins with the right tools. Our Tools and Equipment Fund helps graduating seniors access the equipment they need to launch careers in the trades, skilled labor, and technical fields.

Uniform / Professional Attire Fund
A professional start starts with the right uniform. Our Uniform Fund helps students access the clothing and gear they need to step confidently into their careers, whether in trades, public service, health care or other workforce pathways.

Commercial Drivers License Training Support
One important way you can invest in workforce development is to help students access Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training, paving the way to high-demand, well-paying careers. We offer a week-long preparatory class to get Tri-Tech students ready for their CDL license, opening doors to numerous job opportunities in the community. Because the cost of CDL training can be a barrier, we work to remove that obstacle and better equip our future workforce.

Operational Support
The Tri-Tech Foundation’s success depends on strong programs and lean, efficient operations. Gifts to this fund support only essential functions—financial management, communications, and outreach—so resources stay focused on students and programs.
Greatest Need
Gifts to the Greatest Need Fund give the Foundation’s Board the flexibility to direct resources where they are needed most. This support allows us to respond to emerging opportunities, address unexpected needs, and ensure funds have the greatest possible impact on students, programs, and the Tri-Tech community.
